Stevie Parle is one of Britain's hottest young chefs and his restaurant,
Dock Kitchen is one of the most extraordinary places to eat in London.
The Dock Kitchen initially started as a pop-up restaurant in
collaboration
with the designer Tom Dixon, within whose showroom the
restaurant sits.
The menu reflects the food that Stevie loves:
simple home-cooking from around the world that is completely different to
traditional ‘chefy’ cooking of London
restaurants.
In this book Steve has gathered together his best loved recipes,
adapting them to a style which, in his own words,
"has more to do with the cooking of the grandmothers of the globe
than the overworked, fussy food of the average smart restaurant".
