For those who like a bit of "rough"...

Rough Luxe Design is curated by Kahi Lee,
dedicated to "The New Love of Old", the authentic and unpretentious.
Rough Luxe is rustic, nostalgic, romantic, pragmatic,
accessible, friendly, delightfully rumpled and a little on the theatrical side.
Rough Luxe seem to beckon "Get comfortable".
Interior Design photographer Francois Halard
said that he admires homes that are
"a reflection of the soul, not what the owner can afford".
So sit back, relax and get the vibe.

New "St Louis" Laguiole Collection

Laguiole is not a brand but rather a style of traditional French knife
created by the farmers that lived and worked in the region of Thiers.
There are a number of factories producing 'Laguiole' knives and cutlery -
from the very exclusive to the lower end.
Jean Dubost Laguiole is a fourth generation family owned and managed business
located in the small village of Viscomtat and now one of the largest Laguiole manufacturers producing middle to high-end ranges found in famous stores throughout the world.
Each piece goes through 25 manual production stages
and the famous Laguiole mark is a proud feature of the Jean Dubost range
assuring quality and impeccable French craftsmanship.
New in store is the "St Louis" collection comprising 12 Piece Cutlery Set (shown)
as well as Pate & Cheese Sets and Salad Servers

Cire Trudon introduces Merida Arquiste

Cire Trudon has invited Arquiste Parfumeur
to create a unique new scent for one of its candles.
Arquiste Parfumeur has chosen to celebrate this esteemed Franco-Mexican collaboration
by recreating a balmy night described by Empress Carlota of Mexico
on her visit to the city of Merida, Yucatan in 1865.
Centering on the exuberant, multi-layered fragrance of the guava tree,
it evokes succulent ripe fruit, intoxicating blossoms, foliage and bark,
enveloped by elegant woody notes of mahogany and "palo primavera",
with just a hint of firework gunpowder reminiscent of fireworks.
An altogether intriguing, sumptuous scent.
