Acqua Di Parma

Looking for a present for your Dad, brother, husband, uncle etc. ? Well we think Acqua di Parma is a pretty good idea!

The Italians are well known for their citrus fragrances due to the amazing abundance of citrus fruits grown in the south. Most men come back for a second/third bottle of 'Colonia'.
Colonia became a symbol of Italian chic among American & European celebrities in pre-war and post-war years.

We also sell the talcumn powder, deodorant and (of course) the candles.

These are a few of my favourite things

Firstly, let me apologise for the quality of the photo! In my defence I'm completely new to this and being dragged into the computer age by a much younger colleague!!!

I do however have experience with falling in love with just about everything at Serin Cini. As you can see I have some gorgeous treasures that can be worn individually or all at the same time. First a spritz of the fascinating and addictive Fracas by Robert Piguet... I kid you not I have never worn it without being stopped by woman and men alike and asked what is that fragrance... It may be the jasmine, or the tuberose or perhaps the gardenia.. Whatever the reason Fracas is a crowd stopper!

Another passion of mine is Sophie Digard. These glorious handmade scarves come in pure wool and linen and are treasures to be worn with love. No matter how many I add to my collection there is always another one in the store to lust over as the colours and designs are so individual.

Add a Donatella Pellini necklace or my favourite bangle ( a gift from Larissa!) featuring several gorgeous images of horses individually framed and perhaps even a dainty pair of Ayala Bar earrings and my look is complete! I could go on all day but then I have customers to serve!!! Kelly x

The one and only Robert Piguet...

Robert Piguet was a leading light in the world of French haute couture during the 1920s, 30s, 40s, and 50s. He inspired both women and other leading designers ... Pierre Balmain, Hubert de Givenchy, Christian Dior, included.

In 1944 he turned his attention to creating his own perfume house that quickly established an international following.

A new edition to the Robert Piquet collection is the fragrance Douglas Hannant.

Alice's Casa

Considering we have all taken home SEVERAL products over the years, it's time we showed them off. First up- Alice's home. Some of the pieces are her mothers. Enjoy.
Above- the famous coral, which was grown on a farm in the Great Barrier Reef under precise Government approved world class management arrangements. The long white box are the Cire Trudon matches.

Two beautiful books- Alberto Pinto 'Table Settings', and 'Life and Work' by Marlene Birger.
{both absolute geniuses!}

A Christmas pressie from Sim & Kel- the FAB orange John Derian Plate.

The crown Kuhn Keramic mug, filled with Marc Jacobs pencils.

Can you smell that? Yummo- Miller et Bertaux 'a quiet morning' {curcuma, saffron, basmati rice, palm flower, orange blossom and Indian sandlewood}.
Annick Goutal 'petit cherie' perfume and body lotion- Larissa's favourite too. {pear, peach, musky rose, fresh cut grass & vanilla}

Alice LOVES ...

'1270' by P Frapin & Cie. The company were originally known for their cognac distillery, which has been in production for over 20 generations. Located in the Grand Champagne region in France, their fragrance and cognac are created from rich, fertile soils.

What makes this perfume Alice's favourite? The fact that the top notes are candied orange, nuts and raisins. You then begin to smell juniper, nutmeg, thyme and peony. YUM! It's almost edible.

KELLY is the Queen

of selling Juliette has a gun. This is most likely because the fragrance smells divine on her and makes it irresistable. Her particular favourite is Lady Vengeance. You'll smell this fragrance on the streets of NYC, Moscow, Paris and of course Sydney. Launched in 2006 by Romano Ricci, it truly is a scent like no other...

J H A G - The gun symbolises the perfume- the females' weapon, or a 'simple accessory of bluff'.

The first two fragrances that Romano created were in collaboration with perfumer Francis Kurkdjian ( Le Mâle for Jean Paul Gaultier & Narcisso Rodriguez).  Lady Vengeance is known for its trail. Once you enter a room wearing this fragrance, people immediatly comment. The very elegant but thorny Bulgarian Rose marries patchouli and vanilla to draw a fine elegance, both contemporary and inevitable.

Trust us, it is worth coming in and testing it on your skin. WARNING: if Kelly serves you, you may walk out with a sneaky little purchase!
